Please see details below of a Radio 4 programme being broadcast tonight.

People with learning disabilities have a high chance of dying prematurely, interim figures from a major government survey suggest – and critics claim hospitals are unable to respond to learning disabled patients’ needs.

File on 4, Radio 4 tonight 8pm and again on Sunday at 5pm, looks at the interim report of the Confidential Inquiry into the premature deaths of people with learning disabilities.
