National Housing Federation voices Welfare Reform Bill concerns to peers

 

The National Housing Federation has written to peers to voice concerns about the Welfare Reform Bill in advance of the second reading debate in the House of Lords.
The Federation says it remains concerned about plans to cuts housing benefit in the social sector, to set a cap on cap household benefits, to remove tenants’ choice to have their housing benefit paid directly to their landlord, and to abolish aspects of the discretionary Social Fund.
