Protest opposes disability cuts

More than 150 people have demonstrated against cuts to services for disabled people in Scotland’s largest city.

Members of the Defend Glasgow Services campaign, comprising trade unions, community groups and campaigners, said the cuts will hit the most vulnerable people the hardest. The demonstration took place in Glasgow’s George Square, calling for funding for the vital services to be maintained.
