Committee to question witnesses on the Universal Credit White Paper

As most of you know the Coalition Government has announced its intention to replace all existing working age benefits with a single Universal Credit. A White Paper, Universal Credit: Welfare that Works, setting out the Government’s proposals, was published on 11 November.

The DWP select committee are to meet Wednesday 26th January 2011 for the first oral evidence session into the enquiry looking at the above White Paper.
